A decision by the Sheridan County Attorney's Office has not yet been reached concerning the investigation report regarding misappropriation of funds at the Sheridan County Clerk's Office. The report by the Wyoming Department of Audit and Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation was submitted to Sheridan County Attorney Matt Redle in July of 2010.

DCI began their investigation in early spring of 2010, and interviewed several employees within the County Clerk's Office in late March, including County Clerk Audrey Koltiska on March 25th. Koltiska was not arrested nor charged following the interview; however she was informed of the ongoing investigation surrounding the Clerk's office. She was found deceased due to an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound later that day east of Sheridan.

County Attorney Matt Redle stated that he is just now beginning to pick up where he had left off prior to devoting the majority of his time to a number of 1st Degree Murder Trials that took place in Sheridan County during the latter half of 2010. It still remains unclear as to when Redle will make a decision on the report.
