The Kennon company based in Sheridan that's created many products for U.S. Military airplanes is once again making the national news. Dale Hall is the vice president of the company's business development division. He said his company was recognized earlier in the month during the unveiling of the military's latest, modern, fighter aircraft, at Luke Air Force base in Phoenix, Arizona.

We asked him what this latest collaboration means to his company.

At this point, he said, his company has developed hundreds of products for the military planes, including sun shields and what he called, “plugs.” He gave us the background, as to how this collaboration began, then explained what he meant by “plugs.”

He said this customization is popular because military aircraft can not display any type of nose art, like in the past during World War II and the Korean Conflict. So, he said, the customized detailing on the shields is a way the flyers can be identified and show pride in their military unit.
