New UW Plan Helps Students Graduate in Four Years

Administrators at the University of Wyoming in Laramie are working hard to ensure their transfer students earn a college degree in four years.

Chad Baldwin, from the university’s public relations office, said administrators at both levels are refining curriculum so all credits transfer.

He said this is a significant undertaking that will prove to be an advantage for students at Sheridan College.

He said the plan will help even those freshman students who haven’t yet chosen a major.

Now that a credit transfer plan has been developed for English majors, they’ll move on, he said, to streamline the credit transfer situation for the 17 different most popular emphasis for transfer students, which along with English, includes business and engineering.
