A new member of the Sheridan Police Department was sworn in Tuesday at Sheridan City Hall. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

David Schlenker is now an officer with the Sheridan Police Department following a brief swearing in ceremony in Council Chambers Tuesday. Schlenker, a Wyoming native from Meeteetse, talks about what led him to law enforcement.

Following the swearing in ceremony, Schlenker’s wife, Christine, made it official by pinning the badge on her husband’s uniform.
