The Wyoming Game and Fish office in Sheridan has announced that there is a new game warden for the Sheridan Region. Game and Fish Information Specialist Warren Mischke says that Troy Tobiasson will be focusing primarily on watercraft enforcement this upcoming summer.

Mischke said that Tobiasson's reservoir responsibilities are partially funded by the U.S. Coast Guard until his duties change in mid-September to focus more on the fall hunting season. Mischke indicated that Tobiasson's new job is essentially an entry level game warden position.

Tobiasson is a graduate from Chadron State College in Nebraska, with a degree in molecular biology and a minor on physics. He began his career in wildlife with the Game and Fish as a forensic biologist at the Wildfire Forensics and Fish Heath Laboratory in Laramie.
