New Security Measures Going Into Effect At Sheridan Memorial Hospital

A recent survey showed that Sheridan Memorial Hospital is doing a good job. That same survey identified several areas which need improvement. One such area is security in the Women’s and Children’s Wards. The Hospital’s Linda Benth says that some security upgrades are nearly complete.

The new security protocols have been placed in the obstetrics and children's wards. When patients check in, they’ll be issued key cards that will get them and their visitors access to the patient rooms. The idea to increase security measures came from several sources including patient surveys and consultant inspections.
