New Jo Co Judicial Center To Get Noise Eliminators

At their meeting last week, the Johnson County Commissioners approved the purchase of noise eliminators for the courtroom facilities at the new judicial center which is nearing completion.

The request for the equipment came from the Wyoming Supreme Court, and the commissioners exlained more about the equipment and why the Supreme Court thinks it is necessary.

The commissioners voted to purchase the equipment and have it installed and to use money from the Judicial Center Contingency Fund in the amount of $3,500 for the project.

Later in the day, Commissioner John Gibbs informed those at the meeting that funds were in fact available from the State Supreme Court to reimburse the county for the project.
