Sheridan County Museum has planned a busy day today, with educational events planned for both young historians and seasoned scholars. For kids ages 5-10, “Tidbit Saturday” will feature a two-hour teaching session about how curators care for artifacts. Then, at 10, adults are invited to “Behind the Scenes Saturday,” which will cover the same topic in more detail. Museum director, Nathan Doer, says the day will focus on teaching visitors not only history, but about the museum as well.

Kids who attend Tidbit Saturday should have a guardian with them.
