A call to Sheridan Media this morning from Wyoming Game & Fish informed us of a mountain lion sighting in the Sheridan city limits in a neighborhood near Sheridan College Tuesday. Spokesman Tim Thomas.

Thomas says the cat looks to be a 2-year-old male, about 85 pounds. They surmise he was recently weaned and was out trying to establish his own territory, most likely making his way down Little Goose Creek. Thomas advises the public.

Thomas says there have been no reports, yet, of any missing pets in that area.
