MOUNTAIN GREEN, Utah (AP) - Utah authorities have found the wreckage of a small plane that left the Morgan County Airport and crashed about nine miles away.

Officials say the plane was spotted by a Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter about 11:30 am Friday. Daleray Madewell and his passenger, Jennifer Sebesta of Glenrock were killed in the crash while flying a mission for Wyoming Pilots for Christ.

It was expected to take much of Friday for recovery crews to reach the heavily wooded crash site. The Utah Civil Air Patrol says the single-engine Cessna 210 took off from the airport Thursday night, and the Federal Aviation Administration says the plane was bound for Douglas, Wyoming.

Morgan County Sheriff's Sgt. Jason Lee says the plane was spotted on a mountain slope about nine miles northeast of the airport.
