Missing Cody Girl Found Safe

The Amber Alert that was issued Monday night by the Cody Police Department for an 11-year-old Cody girl has been canceled. Authorities confirmed that just before 9 pm, Katelynn Groves was found. The Amber Alert for the 11-year-old girl was issued shortly after 7 pm after it was reported that she was taken from the Park County Library parking lot in Cody.

Groves was apparently seen getting into a white newer model Toyota four door driven by a white male 55 to 65 years of age with white hair and a white goatee. The man is believed to be between 185 and 200 pounds. The man reportedly enticed Groves into his vehicle by asking her to help find his dog. Anyone with information about the vehicle or the male individual should call 9-1-1 or the Cody Police Department at 307-527-8700.
