Miss Wyoming's Outstanding Teen

Miss Wyoming's Outstanding Teen

Miss Wyoming's Outstanding Teen 2011, Montana Sanners of Lander, was named one of five finalists for the Teens In Action Award at the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant in Orlando. The award went to Miss Utah's Outstanding Teen, but Montana did receive the American Spirit Award. Kelly Smart with the Miss Wyoming Scholarship Foundation explains a little bit about her award.

Smart said that the last time Wyoming placed in the national pageant was 63 years ago in 1948, when Carol Held was first runner-up to Miss America.
