Miss Wyoming and Miss Outstanding Teen Wyoming Appeared this week on The Morning Show. News Director Leslie Stratmoen has the report.

Miss Wyoming 2015 Mikaela Shaw, a 21-year-old from Laramie, stopped by The Morning Show Monday with Miss Wyoming Outstanding Teen, 15-year-old Olivia Boley of Sheridan. Both were crowned over the weekend at the state pageant held in Sheridan.

While on the show, Shaw explained to me and Host Bob Grammens why she chose to play her violin for the talent portion of the competition.

Her platform and message she'll now be promoting through the year is: “The Benefits of Music Education in Elementary Schools.” Bob discovered that the Miss Wyoming teen also had a platform.

Julia Rose of Gillette, did not appear on the show, but she did place in the pageant as the second place runner-up.
