MisHap! Brewing Closes Doors 'Indefinitely'

MisHap! Brewing in Buffalo is closed and will remain so at least for the foreseeable future, according to a posting on the brewpub's Facebook page last week.

The post announced that the taproom would close effective May 15th and remain closed indefinitely.
Owners Chris and Michelle Jones said the decision was not made lightly, but they are “anxious for the next chapter” in their lives.

The brewpub opened in 2012 as Clear Creek Brewing Company with co-owners Rob McCorkle, Mike Engling and Chris Jones offering six different beers; the Tackle Box Wheat, Seven Brothers India Pale Ale, Firehole Chili Porter, Misty Moon Pale Ale, The Dawn Amber Ale and Bomber Mountain Oatmeal Stout.
The company changed their name to MisHap! Brewing Co. in 2016 after a distiller in Oregon threatened a copyright infringement lawsuit over the name.

The pub offered many different styles of beers during their seven years in business.

No other information was released about the closure.
