The annual contract between Johnson County and the Wyoming Game and Fish for them to perform maintenance on docks and the restrooms at the Mikesell-Potts Recreation Area at Lake DeSmet was brought up to be discussed and renewed at the commissioner's meeting this week.

Originally, the commissioners discussed approving the contract as it has been for a number of years, but Deputy County Attorney Barry Crago found some wording in the contract he was uncomfortable with that he would like to see changed if possible.

He explained to the commissioners what he wanted changed and why.

The commissioners opted to table the contract approval until their next meeting to give the attorney an opportunity to discuss the changes with the Game and Fish and draft a new agreement and contract.
