In a release from his office, Governor Matt Mead says he's glad that Wyoming is gaining access to more broadband Internet, but he wants to see even more.

The state and CenturyLink last month granted more broadband access to schools in many towns across Wyoming.

Mead says that this is good news, and the state can continue to push for even greater access.

Recent improvements to state access have moved numbers on the FCC and National Telecommunications and Information Administration map showing those with access to high speed downloads in Wyoming from 54% to 85%.
