McDonald's in Buffalo hosted a “McTeacher Night” Thursday, where portions of the proceeds made during the evening will go to benefit Clear Creek Middle School in Buffalo.

Aaron Mines, a 7th grade math teacher at CCMS, was instrumental in getting the McTeacher Night to happen in Buffalo, along with store owner Larry Storo, Jr.

Larry Storo, Jr. said he and his McDonald's stores in Northeast Wyoming have been involved in the program for a number of years, and now the Buffalo store is involved as well.

Mines explains wht the funds raised will be used for.

Andrea Storo is the Director of Operations for the stores owned by Larry Jr., and she said the program is a great way for schools to earn money with the involvement of teachers, parents, students, and the community.

Although no one was sure how much was raised at the Thursday night event, the store was steadily busy during the evening.
We will have an update on how much was raised in a future story.
