U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis released these comments after voting against a bill to extend the payroll tax holiday.

According to the media release from her office, extending the unfunded payroll tax holiday would add a potential $101 billion to the federal deficit this year alone. The House approved the bill in a 293-132 vote.
