A Look Back in Time: Sept. 29, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 29, 1919.

Dr. H.M. Brown is building a five-room modern bungalow in the Griffith addition on West Burkitt street.

Miss Norine Shields was a charming little hostess to a company of friends Saturday when she entertained at her home on West Works street. The affair was given in honor of Miss Dorothy and Audrey Goodnow, who leave today for Big Horn. The girls played and toasted marshmallows.

A dance will be given tomorrow night at the Dayton Hall in Dayton by the ladies of that community to benefit the Salvation Army fund.

Dr. Johnson and daughter Charlotte returned to Sheridan on 41 today from an extended trip throughout the east.
