A Look Back in Time: Sept. 24, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 24, 1919.

The Sheridan Commercial Club has assumed the responsibility of building a modern hotel in Sheridan, and plans are now underway for putting the project through.

K.M. Klinger cut 25 tons of excellent sweet clover from 30 acres of dry land on his ranch 15 miles south of Sheridan this season.

F.A. Wilson, a rancher on Big Goose Creek near Absaraka park, is in Sheridan today marketing apples.

Eleven townships which were withdrawn three years ago for re-survey will be thrown open to entry tomorrow at the Buffalo land office. The townships are in the vicinity of Verona, Ulm, Clearmont and Arvada.
