A Look Back in Time: Sept. 18, 1917

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 18, 1917.

The agricultural exhibit from Sheridan County was awarded more than $244 cash premiums, 34 blue ribbons, 29 seconds and 16 thirds at the State Fair in Douglas last week. The Sheridan County commissioners have directed that the cash premiums and ribbons be given to the farmers making the winning entries.

The new women's coats for fall are priced from $12.50 to $58 and children's coats from $4.50 to $14.75 at Humphrys.

Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Dinwiddie were hosts last night to a small company for a few games of bridge.
