A Look Back in Time: Sept. 16, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 16, 1919.


The will of the late Vernon E. Reed has been filed for probate with the clerk of the district court in Sheridan county. The value of the Wyoming estate is $4.5 million.

A new school building has been completed in District No. 36 near the Big Corrals. Miss Dorothy Wheden is teacher in the new school.

Many hunters were along the ponds and lakes in the region early this morning, in order to take advantage of the opening of duck season. However, owing to the warm dry weather, as yet there are no ducks migrating.

Mr. and Mrs. Ira Nash of Lower Prairie Dog are in Sheridan today.
