A Look Back in Time: Sept. 13, 1918

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 13, 1918.

Dr. George M. Selby of Sheridan has recently enlisted and is expecting to be called for service in two or three weeks.

Peter Van Leewen is in the county jail after allegedly threatening to blow up the mine where he was employed and do bodily harm to his boss. The threats are alleged to have started with a dispute about wages at the Kimm mine about seven miles out on Goose creek.

Mrs. Will Conley of Big Horn is a visitor in Sheridan today.

Mrs. Mabel A. Coley has opened a chiropractic office over the Central Market at 42 N. Main. Consultation is free.

Otto Ernst lost a valuable cow this week from eating too much alfalfa.
