A Look Back in Time: Sept. 11, 1917

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Sept. 11, 1917.

The Kennedy-Spencer Auto Co. has a good ranchman's car for sale for $200. The vehicle is powerful and would make a fine truck. Call 180 or 635 for more information.

Mr. George Scales went to Denver today on a business trip.

Vaughn H. Baker, one of the Sheridan boys on the U.S.S. Vicksburg, has been promoted to “captain of the hold.”

Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Dinwiddie will start Saturday on a two-year touring trip, during the course of which they hope to get down into old Mexico as far as Mexico City. They will travel altogether in their automobile.
