A Look Back in Time: Oct. 8, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Oct. 8, 1919.


The fire department was called this morning to a burning automobile on North Main street. The fire, which started near the gas tank, was extinguished without damaging the car to any great extent.

J.A. Buck has moved from 946 North Sheridan avenue to 125 North Thurmond street.

Mr. and Mrs. John Onhen entertained Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Ogborn at dinner at the Sheridan Inn last night.

Attorney and Mrs. H. Glenn Kensley have returned home after a pleasant visit in Bremerton and Charlestown, Washington.
