A Look Back in Time: Nov. 29, 1915

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Nov. 29, 1915.

Sheridan's city council officially awarded the city gas franchise to the Pierce-Bacon Engineering company this morning.

Twenty-one teachers took the examination on Friday and Saturday. The test was administered by Mrs. Cotton, who is the county school superintendent.

Miss Elsie Gamble has been appointed teacher at Ulm. She replaces Miss McCarthy, who resigned in order to accept a position as teacher at Kooi.

“The Moth and the Flame,” a Paramount program, is showing at the Grand theater in Sheridan today.
