A Look Back in Time: Nov. 18, 1917

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Nov. 18, 1917.

Stevens, Fryberger & Co., Sheridan's New York Store, is holding the largest fur sale of the season. This sale offers an extraordinary opportunity to secure the famous Albrecht furs at special prices.

A.T. Jones, superintendent of the Sheridan Gas Company, had a narrow escape from death yesterday morning when the gas company automobile he was driving went over the bridge at the Wrench ranch ditch east of Canby street.

The domestic science classes at the high school are doing some Red Cross work this year. Some classes are making bandages, while the more advanced students are knitting or sewing.
