A Look Back in Time: May 7, 1917

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on May 7, 1917.

The boys and girls who are enrolled in club work are now listed as volunteers of the American Food Producers Army and are entitled to wear a badge distinctive of that branch of government service. Miss Mary Hoover, who is assistant state leader of club work, says club work in Sheridan County is well organized.

Fort Mackenzie lost to the Burlington team by a score of 13 to 0 in baseball play yesterday. After expenses were deducted, $15.29 was turned over to the Sheridan County Patriotic fund.

The Big Horn Trail company has just issued an attractive booklet covering a 30-day pack trip into one of the most scenic and least-visited portions of the Big Horn mountains.
