A Look Back in Time: May 28, 1917

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on May 28, 1917.


The latest Sheridan recruits include Ernest Wallengren, engineer corps; Morris Goldberg, field artillery; and Charles O. Dickerson and George W. Clark, both joining the cavalry.

A daughter was born this morning at the State Hospital in Sheridan to Mr. and Mrs. Grover Bramel of Clearmont. Mother and child are both doing fine.

Collier's, at 40 N. Main in Sheridan, has an extra large stock of potted and cut flowers for Memorial Day. Phone 150 to order.

The city council received a petition for grading West Loucks street from Big Goose bridge to the city limits. The petition was referred to Commissioners Poll and Birkhaeuser.
