A Look Back in Time: May 22, 1914

The water in Big and Little Goose creeks – which reached an alarming level yesterday – today is falling.

City officials say the water has dropped 9 inches and is still going down. However, people are warned to not linger on the bridge leading across Little Goose into Pioneer Park. The crossing is still dangerous, and portions of the park are still under water.

The big comedy success, “The Divorce Cure,” will debut Saturday at The Grand theater. Matinee prices are 10 and 20 cents, and admission to the nightly shows is 15 and 25 cents.
