A Look Back in Time: May 16, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on May 16, 1919.

Dr. E.E. Levers during commencement exercises of the training school for nurses last night spoke of the almost phenomenal growth of the Sheridan branch of the Wyoming general hospital. The hospital opened for business on July 7, 1905, and since then has treated nearly 7,000 patients.

Mrs. R.F. Fitch and son of Monarch were shopping in Sheridan yesterday.

Someone broke into the Shirley saloon on North Main last night and stole about 30 quarts of whiskey.

Beautiful gowns and dresses are priced from $19.50 to $75 at Reed’s.
