A Look Back in Time: March 20, 1917

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on March 20, 1917.

The road between Hardin and Sheridan through the Crow reservation has been ordered opened by the government. This information has been received from the secretary of the Hardin Community club. The road has been exceedingly inconvenient because it was necessary to open 23 gates on the reservation, but those gates will now be eliminated.

The Decker-Cummings Music company is having an extraordinary sale of pianos and players. Behr Bros. Pianos, regular $500 new, are now $85, and $400 Schumanns are $185.

Kenneth D. Langworthy of Sheridan and Miss Eva Dixon of Buffalo were married Saturday afternoon at his home on South Brooks street.
