A Look Back in Time: March 19, 1917

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on March 19, 1917.

C.H. Thatcher, manager of the Sheridan Sugar factory, said the factory will be operating this year. Thatcher said for some weeks, rumors have been circulating that the factory would not be operating. He said those rumors are untrue.

George Brown has completed arrangements for construction of a one-story building on his lot adjoining the Odd Fellows home on West Brundage. The building will include an automobile sales room in the front, and three sample rooms in the rear.

The officers and men at Fort Mackenzie, and the officers and men of Company D, will be guests of the Orpheum theater at a patriotic program tomorrow.
