A Look Back in Time: March 17, 1915

The Burlington has ordered 50 new locomotives from the Baldwin locomotive works.

This will include 15 of the Pacific type, 20 Mikado and 15 Santa Fe.

J.E. Gill and Arthur Gill have returned home today after an absence of a little over a month. The two Sheridan men visited the exposition at San Francisco. They report the exposition was in every way up to their expectations. They were among the crowd that witnessed the famed aviator Lincoln Beach make the perpendicular drop that cost him his life on Sunday when he attempted the stunt in a monoplane.
