A Look Back in Time: March 13, 1918

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on March 13, 1918.


Mrs. D.E. Kendall entertained a few friends at luncheon yesterday at her home on 863 West Works street.

Cards returned by farmers to the Commercial Club, concerning labor and seed questions, indicate there will be a large demand during the seeding season and later on when the crops are harvested in the fall. The cards show there is plenty of wheat in the county, and that barley and oats are wanted by the farmers.

E.E. Lonabaugh is expected back from Thermopolis, where he has been spending the week.

Twelve pounds of potatoes are 15 cents at the Basket Store. A half pint of mustard is 19 cents.
