A Look Back in Time: Mar. 12, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Mar. 12, 1919.

The first prisoner from Sheridan county under terms of a new state law that requires counties to pay transportation costs instead of the state was taken to Rawlins yesterday by Deputy Sheriff Campbell.

The doctors of Sheridan are giving a banquet tonight for Dr. Shunk, who has recently returned from service in the army. There will probably be about 18 people present.

Austin Johanna and C.F. Harris are proprietors of the new Overland-Willis Knight garage on West Loucks street. The new garage will handle Overland and Willis Knight cars and International trucks. They will also do repair work and handle Federal tires.
