A Look Back in Time: Mar. 1, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Mar. 1, 1919.

Governor Carey has vetoed a bill passed by the recent legislature providing for state poultry shows, the first of which was to have been held at Sheridan.

Mrs. J.D. McRae of Buffalo is visiting in Sheridan.

The Knights and Ladies of Security will give a masque dance at the Union Hall between Monarch and Carneyville tonight. Refreshments will be served.

Rev. Ira W. Kingsley returned yesterday from the Methodist conference in Denver.

R.C. Johnston of Arvada is looking after business in Sheridan today.
