A Look Back in Time: June 8, 1914.

Specifications and plans for the new city paving district were deferred by Sheridan's city council today due to lack of time. The council did not meet in regular session until the middle of the afternoon.

The Auxiliary of St. Peter's church will have charge of the Pastime theater this afternoon and evening. Features include specialties by some of the pupils of Mrs. Taylor's dancing class, and the picture, “The Death of Saul.”

For a limited time, Sheridan School of Music will give a free mandolin, violin or guitar to every person, adult or child, who enrolls in the school as a student. Enrollment is just 50 cents a lesson.
