A Look Back in Time: June 25, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on June 25, 1919.

A forest fire which started yesterday morning in the timber of Wolf Creek in the mountains had burned about 10 acres at last reports. This is about 25 or 30 miles from Sheridan. A crew of about 15 men is fighting the fire.

The Sheridan Music Company has just received a large shipment of the latest rolls for your Player Piano.

John Onken has installed a gas range and automatic water heater in his new home at 159 W. Whitney street.

Women’s and misses’ tub frocks are priced from $6.75 to $10.75 at Stevens, Fryberger & Co., Sheridan’s New York Store.
