A Look Back in Time: June 2, 1917

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on June 2, 1917.

The Supervisor of the Big Horn National Forest has received word that men who enlist in either the Army or the Navy may be allowed to retain their grazing rights without use of the range during the period of their enlistment.

Judge and Mrs. W.S. Metz and Mrs. Percy Metz were dinner guests last evening of Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Fryberger.

Mrs. Will Schaal entertained the members of the Kodak club at 10 o'clock this morning. A basket of pink sweet peas was at the center of the table, and tiny individual pink baskets were given as favors. A session of bridge was enjoyed after pictures were taken.

Mrs. O.L. Wertman underwent an operation at the hospital today.
