A Look Back in Time: June 19, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on June 19, 1919.


From 3 o’clock until 6 o’clock this afternoon, the electors of school district No. 7 will vote their approval or disapproval of the plan to bond the district in the amount of $50,000 for the purpose of constructing a new building to supplant the Central school.

The city commissioners plan to pay for all meters installed in Sheridan from an initial investment of $4,000, according to Commissioner of Finance Loucks.

William Snow of Ranchester was a business visitor in Sheridan this week. Mr. Snow is president of the Federal Farm Loan association that recently organized in Sheridan county.

Pete Walsh is in Sheridan from Arvada for a few days on business.
