A Look Back in Time: June 15, 1914

The Gregg-Stout Bridge Company has received the contract to build the new bridge across Little Goose Creek on Broadway.

The city council awarded the bid this morning. The company is local, and their bid was $3,652 for the bridge itself, plus $7.25 per cubic yard for the abutments.

The Lindsay-Walker Co. has announced the company's car of strawberries for canning will arrive in Sheridan on Tuesday by train 42. Phone your order to your grocer at once.

All Knights of Pythias are requested to be at the Castle hall Tuesday afternoon at 1, to escort the remains of Brother William H. Veach to the Burlington station.
