A Look Back in Time: June 14, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on June 14, 1919.

Sheridan for the first time today began feeling the effects of the nationwide strike of telegraphers. Two operators, two clerks and two messengers walked out of the local office of the Western Union at 6 o’clock last night.

A Ford sedan with starter and demountable rims is $980.93 at Scales Motor Co.

Jimmie Rennie of Taylor school won the first prize of $5 for catching the greatest number of flies single-handed in the fly campaign that just ended.

John Booz is in Sheridan from Parkman today on business matters.

The Sheridan High School sophomore class left yesterday about noon for a picnic.
