A Look Back in Time: June 13, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on June 13, 1919.


The assignment of teachers for 1919-1920 was announced this afternoon. J.J. Early is superintendent, and Lois E. Lucas is clerk for the school district.

The prize catch of the season, a 7 ¾ pound trout, was exhibited in Sheridan today. The fish was caught at 10 o’clock this morning by Clark Zingg, two miles west of Sheridan in the Big Goose ditch.

Decker-Cummings Music Co. has just received a dandy assortment of the latest G.R.S. Player Piano rolls.

George Benson, who has been commercial instructor in the high school, left on Engine 42 today for Chicago.
