A Look Back in Time: June 11, 1914

Sheridan resident Oliver Walsh, who was found guilty last winter of neglecting to clear his sidewalk of snow, has appealed the case to district court.

City Attorney Gottlieb has asked the court to reject the appeal on the grounds that it is too minor a case to consider. Mr. Walsh was fined $1 and court costs in city police court.

Mrs. J.B. Kendrick and her children, Miss Rosa Maye and Manville, are spending a few days at the O.W. Ranch.

Miss Carolyn Johnson, who is in the hospital, is improving. She will be able to leave for her home in about 10 days.

Carney Coal is just $2.50 for a ton. Call J.K. Walsh at 267.
