A Look Back in Time: July 30, 1914

A large whirlwind this morning demolished a shed at the home of F.L. DeJarnette at 957 Emerson street.

The shed had only recently been moved into place.

Bob Terry's show window presented a tasty appearance today. The east window has a background of green, with a mirror representing a lake. The lake is surrounded by a variety of canned goods suitable for camping parties. A fine display of cereals occupies the west window, with purple for the color scheme.

The Pastime Theater tonight features Boyle and Boyle in a clean, classy vaudeville act. Also showing John Bunny and Flora Finch, and three other first class pictures. Admission is just 10 cents.
