A Look Back in Time: July 24, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on July 24, 1919.

Sheridan County commissioners have spent more than $420,000 since the first of the year and now have only $68,000 for operations until new taxes come in.

The management of Piney Inn requests that patrons make reservations for dinner parties and rooms, saddle horses and guides for taking parties through the mountains.

Mrs. R.C. Rasmussen and Pauline Howard of Arvada are visiting in Sheridan today.

Although the county fair for this year has been abandoned because of the drouth, advocates of a county fair are already discussing the advisability of an early start for the fair next year.
