A Look Back in Time: July 15, 1917

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on July 15, 1917.


Children's wash dresses are on sale starting at 49 cents at Reed's. Also silks, regularly $1.25 a yard, are clearance-sale priced at 69 cents.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Peret, Hall and Richard will return tonight from a week's outing in the mountains at Linger Longer cabin.

Mr. Joe Pollard of Monarch has recently purchased a new Elgin Roadster, and Mr. Clarence Hilton, also of Monarch, has purchased an Overland Roadster.

Over 100 people gathered at the Smith ranch in Passaic on the fourth of July. They brought their dinners and spent the day. A big dance was given in the evening.
