A Look Back in Time: July 11, 1915

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on July 11, 1915.


The second of a series of summer concerts will take place in Sheridan's Pioneer Park starting at 2:30 this afternoon. By request, several of the pieces played at the July 5 concert will be repeated.

The Golden Rule store is having a July clearance sale. Women's long silk gloves, black or white, are 69 cents. New style handbags, values to $2.25, are $1.48. Women's excellent summer vests are 5 cents. Oliver Twist suits for boys are just 29 cents.

The Sheridan Real Estate Company is offering free government homesteads, 320 acres open for settlement in the best in the Big Horn Mountain Slope country.
