A Look Back in Time: July 1, 1917

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on July 1, 1917.


Stevens, Fryberger & Co., Sheridan's New York Store, has Kuppenheimer Air-O-Weave suits for men priced at $10 and $12.

The Misses Frances and Anna Maghee left today to spend the remainder of the summer at the Buckingham ranch near Piney. School will be closed during their absence.

Reed's has high-grade wash fabrics, suitable for suits, dresses, waists and separate skirts, clearance sale priced from 19 to 39 cents a yard. Also two-clasp silk gloves in white, tan and gray for 75 cents.

Mrs. G.F. Hamilton and Clark have gone to the E.R. Ranch near Arvada to spend a few days.
